The Apache Junction Police Foundation logo is more than an emblem — it is a visual pledge to “Serve Those Who Serve Us.”
The Apache Junction Police Foundation was established to serve those who serve us — the dedicated men and women of the Apache Junction Police Department (AJPD) who protect our community each day with integrity, courage, and compassion. Our Foundation exists to bridge the gap between community support and the needs of the officers, employees, and their families that fall outside traditional city budgets.
Born from a shared vision of service and community partnership, the Foundation provides direct assistance and resources that strengthen the safety, readiness, and well-being of AJPD personnel. Through fundraising, partnerships, and outreach, we support a wide range of initiatives — including officer wellness programs, memorial and Honor Guard travel, scholarships, youth engagement projects, specialized training, and community-based events such as Shop with a Cop.

Our mission is simple yet vital: to ensure that those who dedicate their lives to protecting others have the support, tools, and recognition they deserve. Whether it’s providing assistance to families of injured and fallen officers, helping fund lifesaving equipment, or supporting morale and professional development programs, every contribution to the Foundation makes a tangible difference.
The Apache Junction Police Foundation stands as a symbol of unity of our community members “Serving Those Who Serve Us.” Through our shared support and collective actions, we continue to build a stronger, safer, and connected Apache Junction we all love and continue to take pride in.

Banner Health is honored to be able to support Officer Facio and his family at the first annual Apache Junction Police Foundation Golf Tournament. At Banner Goldfield and Ironwood, we are committed to supporting our community, especially in times of need. When Officer Facio was tragically injured in the line of duty, our team worked tirelessly to
provide the immediate care he needed, stabilizing him before he was transferred to a trauma center with a higher level of care. The strength and sacrifice displayed by our first responders, like Officer Facio, inspire us every day. It is with deep respect and gratitude
that we proudly sponsor this charity golf event, honoring his legacy and supporting the family and colleagues he leaves behind. We stand together with our community to ensure that heroes like Officer Facio are never forgotten.

Over the years, we have helped countless individuals and families overcome financial, medical, and social challenges. Our success stories are a testament to the impact of our programs and the dedication of our team and supporters.

We are proud to partner with a variety of organizations and businesses to support our community. Our partnerships enable us to expand our reach and provide even more resources and services to those in need.
